This year’s MWC was without a doubt one of the hottest ever global tech shows. Almost all the brands present there, showcasing products that are set to become a trend soon. Apple, but, was busy updating its future plans to investors, shareholders, fans and employees alike.
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, has said that the company is busy “planting seeds” and “rolling the dice” on future products that will “blow you away.”

He did not reveal the details of these mind-blowing products the company is working on, nor did he share a timeline around these products. Tim Cook said that Apple watch and Apple AirPods will get more features in due course and said that there is a “long, great roadmap” on the horizon. He also announced that the USD 1200 priced MacBook Air will become cheaper and more affordable.
Tim Cook also mentioned that he has "never been more optimistic" about the state of the company and the direction in which it is heading. He spoke about almost all the Apple products apart from iPhones, the most important and basic product for anyone to get into Apple’s ecosystem.
Apple is going to host an event by the end of this month, where the company may announce a couple of products, including the next generation AirPods and a streaming service. It is also said to be working on ambitious projects like a pair of augmented reality smart glasses, and a self-driving vehicle.
These announcements from the CEO would’ve come as a breath of fresh air for the investors since the sales of iPhones during last year has been disappointing. The 2018 iPhones also weren’t very well received mainly due to the extremely high pricing with the most affordable iPhone starting at USD 749.
All eyes are now on the event scheduled around the end of the month. What are your expectations from Apple this time?
